With the progress of technology, there has been a part of the turbo engine using dual cycle ventilation system, the manufacturer separately designs a set of radiator for the turbocharger, using electronic water pump to the cooling of the turbocharger, even at high speed the car immediately fires off, there is no effect on the turbocharger, electronic pump can continue to work for the heat dissipation of the turbocharger, so adopting such structure don't need to idle engine cooling.

Generally, turbine cooling can be done in two ways: directly using engine cooling circulation system and electronic water pump cooling system. The engine cooling cycle system is connected with turbine cooling oil passage to realize cooling of turbine cycle. If there is only one way to cool the turbine in turbocharged cars, then the turbine mechanism will not be cooled effectively after the shutdown, and the service life and performance of components will be affected. Therefore, for this kind of turbocharged car, it is necessary to stop and idle for two or three minutes, and then turn off after the temperature of the turbine mechanism drops.


When turned off, the ECU controls the pump operation according to the turbine temperature. If the turbine temperature is too high, the pump will start to run and the cooling fan will start to work. After the turbine temperature drops, the ECU will stop the pump operation. Turbocharged cars with this function can be parked, flicked off and driven away without any impact on the turbine mechanism or oil.
